notarizing the notary that's not there

I got an assignment today from a company to notarize a Quit Claim deed 10 minutes away. No prob. I set it up and waited on docs.

They send me ONE page, the notarization page. I get on the phone. "Hey, I only got the notarization page, need the rest of the doc."

"Oh, no," she says. "All we want you to do is notarize it."

Uh huh. Turned it back in immediately.
