Closers Beware!
It appears that CogentCA one of the worse payors in the history of signing companies may have comeback to life as Closerv follow this link http://www.cogentca.com/login.php and if google cogentca, closerv comes up. WTH !! I want my money they owe me!!!!

They called me on Friday for a closing, and I turned $90 away. Too busy with better opportunities and avoiding the no pay low pay drama with these people on the other side of the country. Thanks, but no thanks.

It's more like Lenox Financial, which changed their name to The Griddd, which has, quite possibly, one of the creepiest websites I've ever seen.
http://www.thegriddd.com
I believe that Closerv is actually software or a platform to manage closings and The Gridddddddd people own them or developed them or some such. I don't think that Closerv is any particular signing service or lender/title/escrow/etc.
I fyou note the login page for Closerve has that same creepy logo as the Griddddddd does.

Hi all, I'm a newbie. Been lurking a bit and absorbing as much info about the industry as possible (thanks to all the great info you guys have so graciously shared).
Anyway, you're right, Griddd, Lenox Financial, Closerv are all the same... http://activerain.com/jcalvo
So I'm starting to really "get" that many, many SS are just reincarnations of poorly managed and operated defunct SS's? Makes navigating the waters tricky...

Welcome, Susan!
A friendly suggestion: If you feel you're ready to accept notary assignments, you might consider populating your profile.

Re: Welcome, Susan!
Thanks for the tip Yoli. I'm not quite there yet though, still doing research trying to make sure I have a good understanding of what I'm doing and getting all my ducks in a row. Hopefully by mid-February I'll be up and running....
