FedEx peal off air billing labels
I was at a FedEx Office today to drop off some docs and noticed they had peal off billing labels that didn't need the pouch.
I asked the employee how long they had been using them and she said about 2 months. I took 5-6 of them and she said here "let me give you a couple of packs (20 each) of them."
Big difference between UPS & FedEx!!

At the very bottom of the airbill it has Part #167002 but I'm not sure if that is the form number?

The order number is 146525, I've been using them for a couple of months too and I really like them.

Yes I remember those from back in the day....
and I was told they did away with them because they were not durable enough. I was wondering since they have been reincarnated if they were new and improved

Ditto. Someone posted a couple of months ago about
these "laser labels". I like them & use them when I can. I ordered them & they sent me a fairly large quantity.

They've been around for a while. I avoid using them; the plastic sleeve offers more protection for the label from being obliterated by water or being partially ripped off.

I agree with Hugh.
FedEx was using thosed when I first started in 2002. I never liked them. IME, the pouch does protect them.

The only reason I do not like them
is because if I find I have left anything out of the envelope or want to recheck something. (It has happened to me) If I have already put the label on the package, I am out of luck. I have to go home and reprint. With the pouches, it is not a big deal. New pouch, new envelope, same label.

I got them accidentally and LOVE THEM
These make me far less fearful that a label will get transposed with another package--sometimes Fedex takes them out of the pouch to scan them -- EEEK!
I really like these new labels. Watch out though, they recently reversed the first overnight and priority overnight boxes... I went through and ticked all of mine priority overnight, so I wouldn't accidentally get a bill for the overage to first overnight. (MAJOR price difference)
