Looking for an iPad.
I don't need the latest and greatest. I just need one to run the app from my school. It's not available on android, unfortunately. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I bought an older generation, refurbished iPad directly from apple's website and it has worked out great...save about $200 at the time.

Thanks for the info. Should I presume that I can use a headset with it to listen to the audio?

Also try Gazelle.com for refurbs and pawn shops.
Lots of people want the latest and greatest each edition, the older stuff gets pawned or traded in.

Sho, I enjoy having Verizon 3G on my Ipad II
It is $20 a month for all that I need to surf on my Ipad.
I can also make my t-mobile phone a hotspot and surf.
Between the 2 companies, I am almost always assured great access. Verizon picks up where tmobile stops and vice versa. I so enjoy having it with me when I am away from my computer, and I use it in meetings at work. I have a bluetooth key board that is the bomb for typing a lot of text.
I would like the mini better, too.

Brenda, I ended getting the mini. I was really intrigued by the light weight. I only need it for school. Does apple give classes on how to use these devices? thanks, shoshana
