Notary Pro-credit card debt
I was called by them to do a credit card debt signing. It doesn't involve any loan docs or notarization. Anybody out there come across this?

Is that like a debt settlement program?
If so, I wouldn't get involved with it.

Yes. They want me to put my salesman hat on, I guess. Hmmm

Talk them into it?
Wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole.

"Yes. They want me to put my salesman hat on, I guess."
As an independent notary, you don't have one of those...

I know more than enough to send them down the street to a friend of mine that's an attorney. Do NOT touch it.

If you search this topic you will see it's been discussed
before. I won't take that kind of work--don't have any way of knowing which are scams & which aren't.

I don't do those because I feel like those companys and lawyers are taking advantage of people in financial trouble.
