ORT
We had a signing at 4:30 when documents had not arrived we called Nations Direct. After much back and forth they said the old standby "waiting for hud approval" We cancelled the signing appointment. When I called the borrower to advise him that I would not be the notary meeting with him to sign his documents, he informed me that he was aware of that. The lender had called him earlier and told him that he wouldn't be closing untill after the first of next month. The notary is always the last to know!

Funny you should mention ORT
The post I just made earlier regarding Mumblers and Global Notary, Inc. is utilizing ORT to get me my docs. They have since called me back (in a slight panic) assuring me docs would be here tonight and wanting me to go out tomorrow to complete the assignment. I said that might be a problem as I've got several things lined up tomorrow being a weekend and all. My fee got increased from what it was, and I penciled them in. Sorry to hear yours went far south.

Re: Wow...someone needs to have a chat with someone at
And I STILL have no docs so no call has been placed to the borrower. I can't go over them to make sure everything was situated right from Title's side. I suppose I do have all day tomorrow to "wait" around. Nah, think I'll go to a Mardi Gras Parade instead.
I am seriously disappointed that the spell checker is telling me 'Mardi' and 'Gras' are misspellings... Bad spell checker is bad.
