I have to agree with Art. First you need your question answered by someone versed in PA notary law. Art is correct, there is no correct way to sign in PA with a PA. It can be attorney in fact, POA, whatever the title company/lender wants. HOWEVER, there is ONLY one way to complete an acknowledgment for a POA in PAm and it is NOT your standard all purpose individual acknowledgment. The specific form is an attorney in fact's (agent's) acknowledgment, where the wording is very specific to the attorney in fact(agent). The forms are available on the PAN website or you can look in your handbook for the specific wording. A google search might turn up the specific "form of attorney in fact's (agent's) acknowledgment. I never, ever listen to anyone's specific notarial advise from a state other than my own, as the internet is not an up to date source of notary law. PA notary law is specific as is every state. And, I will only rely on PAN or a very experienced PA notary for advice in PA (and in NJ we have a similar organization...I do both states). Just my two cents
