Quicken Loans

I was instructed to print 1 copy of Quicken Loans because Quicken sends a bound copy directly to the borrower. I have never yet had a borrower receive a copy prior to my arrival unless the entire package was overnighted eliminating the need for me to print. I believe the borrower should have immediate access to what he or she is signing. I always strive to do it right. I am looking for your comments regarding your Quicken experience. Thank you in advance.

Quicken loans the documents are always online in borrowers account. Once we get them they can view them too. I always let them know so they can review them and call who ever they are working with if they have a question.

Quicken will take care of its borrowers. You can be as assured of that as of the sun rising tomorrow morning. Nevertheless, because the packages normally run only 80-85 pages, I usually print out an extra copy to take with me in case I need a correction copy. It will come as a shock to many, but I do occasionally make mistakes. If the borrowers haven't gotten their Quicken copy yet, I leave the second copy with them.

Delivery is same day or next day

As a result, sometimes the bound copy hasn't arrived.

They do have docs the same day you get them (or before) in their online account, and sometimes I discover the borrower has printed them...at home...on a 15-year-old inkjet printer...ugh.

Typically when I call to confirm, I let them know they'll get a printed copy, so DON'T print what quicken sends you, as it's more pages than most people want to print on a home printer. They WILL get a printed copy unless they requested not to. (nobody but we notaries knows to check how many pages before hitting "print")

Like Hugh, I like to have an extra copy just in case of errors, and with an 85 page document set, the printing isn't any kind of a hardship for me, and the costs are negligible.

I offer to leave the spares, or take them back to the office to shred, knowing the originals are on the way. The results are about 50-50.

The entire package is available to the borrower online. Quicken given the borrower a user id and password to access the docs at a secure location on their website. Then they post the set of fully executed docs when funds are disbursed. You just give them the 2 copies each of the RTC.

With all due respect, Quicken does a great job. But for "just in case" I always print a set
for borrower, as have had a couple of cases where borrower did not have their copies, one of which would not have signed if the copy was not available. Not every one has a computer.

I always print and extra copy of the pages I notarize just in case I need a replacement copy.
Always take along copy of the HUD and 2 right to cancels also.. Even if they have a computer, few have legal paper. As an aside, is anyone else having problems with the yahoo email account? I am having trouble receiving confirmations from JMT via my yahoo email account. Not sure if it is yahoo or JMT.

When I do email signings for them I also print another copy for the borrower. It is not required by Quicken but borrowers are so glad when I show them their copy. They say they don't want to print 90 pages!

I did one this morning O/N package. I was impressed by the way they provide the borrower's copies it was presented in a very professional package. It looks like a book.

Last one I did a few days ago also had their bound copy at the signing. I agree that it looked very professional, soft cover and all. I don't print an extra copy, but I make sure they get copies of the pages they're supposed to receive, whether or not they already received their copy.

I agree with you Jack! In a perfect world I would do nothing but Quicken loans. Title Source is the most organized title companyI have ever worked with.
