Quicken/Title Source

I have been a closing loans since 2004 and it's been up an down through the years. This year was exceptionally wonderful. The Title Source loans were coming daily; sometimes 3-4; no problem since I'm full time. But this last month.....about 1 or 2 a week. I called Title Source to see what the problem was and they said they are just slow right now; but a friend who I turned on to the business 4 years ago is still getting steady work(1 or 2 a day from them). We live in the same area too. Not sure what's going on but I miss them.

Allison, I am experiencing the same from First American Signature Services (FASS) - until the past two weeks, I was getting calls on a routine basis - I only have three on the books for the month of January from them.

I am hoping that this is just a slow time of month/year and things will pick up, especially EOM!!! Meanwhile, I am working on billing, filing, marketing, and household needs.

All four of signing agents here in VA are experiencing a slowdown. Guess its a good time for organizing tax docs!

same here. Last week was pretty busy. This week a bit slow. So I think its just a slow period. The last month has been crazy.

It has been slow for the last 3 weeks. I would avg about 8/week now it's 4/week.

It always slows down ...

. . . at the beginning of the month. The lenders and escrow are busy processing all that stuff that was signed at the end of the month. Time to do invoicing and housework. It should pick up again after the 15th.

Same happening with me. I work directly with TS BUT I always get calls from SS who charge less and now not only JMT but Fieldchoice is in on it.

Sorry Allison that things have slowed down for you. Use this down time to sign up with as many TC and SS as you can. I know TS/QL are a breeze, but there hundreds of other loan companies and TC that will easily pay you double what TS/QL is paying and believe me even though it's more work, it is not double the work. Also it divides you eggs between many baskets.
