Scheduler had Russian phone number? Right away I am
concerned about a scam or virus. Ever get a scheduling from there? India - maybe, but Russia?

Outsourced schedulers usually have a local (USA) phone numbe
I'd steer clear like nobody's business.
I get calls from outsourced schedulers, but the phone number is a USA number, and the companies are reputable, and known.

I have had signing companies located in the US call me with 5 digit numbers and have not had any problems.

How did you know it was Russian?
As far as I know (and I could be wrong), foreign phone numbers do not display on caller ID. At least they don't on my phone services (Verizon for my cell, Time-Warner Cable for my home).

Re: I am beginng to suspect that it was a local
scheduler who put out a 777 area code (which I've learned is an optional number if you want to hide your real number) and had the name Russia come up on the phone even thought the call probably came from the US.

Anyone going to that length to hide their phone number is not someone I would want to deal with.
