Turbo Tax does work for us.
Have to know where to look. I have used it for years. This year's works too. Just verified by checking it out.

Where is that found in Turbo Tax? I would appreciate having the right answer if he or she outside of this forum asks that question.

Belinda, thanks for the info. I have used TT every year and I was worried that there may be issues for 2012. Glad that you've checked it out for us.

Updates
For all that use tax preparation software, be sure and update very regularly. IRS has advised that certain forms will not be readily available until February or March. This includes forms for schedule "C". It also means that you will not be able to file until closer to April 15. For a full list go to WWW.IRS.GOV. This will also have an effect on filing your state taxes.

Re: Updates
Not all people that file sch C are Notaries Art. My son in law files schedule C, rents property for his business, has machinery that is depreciated, uses electric vehicles, etc.

Will get the instructions typed out for you
later. The navigation to where you need to be within TT is not obvious. Will have to look it up again to let you know. Will post it as a new post.
