Can anyone explain why there are two 1003"s? I must have missed that class. Lol Thanks :-)

Same reason I had 5 TILs in one yesterday or Chase' chronic 12 RTCs or a dozen pages of instructions to the notary about docs that aren't even in the package...cuz they can.

Re: Two 1003's . . . and Multiples
I don't much mind the dup 1003s; but the multiple HUD-1s!! Especially when none say "Final" and 2 are the same and the 3rd is different (arrghh!)&?&!@ Confusing.
Had to end a closing last night because Hud showed MIP (VA refi). Bor was an attorney and she picked it out like a hawk from 15 miles away! I'll be seeing her again . . . short night (new folks: Always present the "meat" docs - HUD1, TIL, Note - First! Will save you lots of Time)
Question for veterans: Have you ever advised Title that correct HUD needs to say FINAL? also . . . Do you insist that extra doc requests for split ships - like 2 DOTs - be INCLUDED in the e-file download? If not, Do you always Remember to print the extra copy?

What's worse is I had one the other night...small-ish pkg, don't remember lender, but I do remember it was a trustee signing and still <120pp....and would have been even less, but because there were 12 RTC's (2 per borrower and 2 for trustees) there was a cautionary legal size "make sure they date the RTC" in shouty capital letters for EVERY. SINGLE. RTC. (Not being shouty--just emphatic )

I had three sets the other day. Two sets were broker docs.

Don't Know WHY, but Citi most always says in instructions
that 2 must be signed, occasionally two show up in other packages
