Where I live, my small city is 9 square miles in area and my county is 900 square miles in area, I do NOT mean it is 15 miles in any direction from me and I live in the center of the county. I could have a drive of 25 miles one way into the boonies to get to the inspection site. And I cover over 100 miles from me. My fees are a min of $35 per hour plus Notary charges. The travel fee is non-refundable.

I think it is at least 3 picture of the floor and walls per room. A photo of the ceiling photo if it fits in one photo. id it fits 1... if not it is more. Under every sinks photo. Hot water heater photo. Back yard photos. Front yard photos. All the door photos. Any damage photo. Elect. and gas meters photos? All window photos. The garage photo too many. All the sign photos. The roof photos. Up and down the street photo. Street sign and house numbers photos. I think that about 40+ photos and takes an 3+ hours . Then you work on the web site . You have to give a discretion of every photo. I think that is 1/2 of an appraisal. I am sure after all that work they don't need even need an appraisal. I think it is work is worth $300 would think about it $125.00. I have never got that approved yet. So $30 bucks for me is a no. I can sign a loan for a lot more. So I just keep the time open for that. jmo

I don't know about you, but nothing I've ever done for that company has been of that magnitude. It's been a delivery of a single letter in a sealed envelope...most of the time, the people aren't ever home so it gets taped to a door, I take 3-4 photos and I fill a quick narrative of what happened and email it back.
