sunshine signing connection

This company is comunication heavy, both emails and calls. They have changed docs while at the Borrowers home. Price accordingly for at least an extra hour of time. They can also be confusing with verbal instuctions, require conformation for any changes.

On the file this notary is referring to:

We got a call from title that said they were going to be sending over some revised dox. It was only a few dox, not the whole pkg. We called the notary and he was already at the table so we emailed the dox to him. The notary didn’t have the final HUD signed that was in the orig pkg. The final HUD wasn’t one of the revised dox that we received. It was in the pkg and should have been signed. The notary was only supposed to swap out the old dox that were in the orig pkg w/ the revised dox that we sent over.

So if there was any confusion on your part why would you not ask for clarification? Also when title rec'd the signed package back why was the Final HUD returned unsigned.

When we contacted you on getting this corrected you gladly went out and handled your mistake.

We only deducted for the cost of shipping back to title, if it was our mistake we would have paid you to return and have it signed and we would have covered paying for the shipping.

So for you to go on every notary forum and try to slander our company is unprofessional on your part.

And it is illegal to hiring NSAs for closings in GA

As it is an attorney-only state.

Re: And it is illegal to hiring NSAs for closings in GA

I'm sure that the Attorney is on the line explaining docs while notary is notarizing.

I don't live in GA but I've done alot of Attorney only signings and the Attorneys will be on conference call explaining GA specific docs while notary notarizes. I know a few notaries in Attorney only States who do this and work with these Attorneys.

I've seen stuff posted on here about GA but from my experience that's what I've seen and heard happening.

That only happens when signing out of state, Toni

When the signing is in GA an attorney must conduct the closing.

State indicator at top of posts not perfect

I think the state given for users who don't link their profile is based on finding the location of the IP address. This isn't a perfect process; sometimes the software that does that say's I'm in New Hampshire.

"I think the state given for users who don't link their profile is based on finding the location of the IP address."

Not true. If you click on the message you'll see the poster's location based on what they told NR when they registered, regardless of whether they've linked their profile. IP address has nothing to do with it. When I moved from NY to TX, I just had to request that they change my username and location. Had I not done that, I would still be shown as being from NY.

The measure that was passed in GA was specific

telephone presence does not satisfy the "attorney-presence" requirement. It was posted here before.

Sunshine must know that GA is an attorney only state.

We can't assume the OP isn't an attorney.

The new docs were sent to the notary at the closing table?

What is the process of printing if you email the docs to the notary at the closing table?

Im going to defend Sunshine Signings..They are a great group to work with..Not sure what happened here but if there is a change or they resend you they are always willing to pay for the trip..Never had a problem with them!

Good question. How do they expect anyone to be able

to handled "revised" docs if they're at the signing. Sometimes the borrowers have a computer & printer. Otherwise, I don't/won't set up a printer in my car. I have my limits.
