If a non borrowing spouse is signing the

Mortgage, should I add her name to the line before me personally appeared.... Her name was not preprinted but TC said to have her sign.

Her name must be on the first page and signature pages. Odds are it will get bounced by the county clerk. Ocean County does not take write ins, cross outs on recorded documents. You need to ask if she was on the deed of the home. There are times if someone re-married and did not have second wife put on the deed.
