Silk Title

Checked SC, there are two listings with mixed reviews. Anyone have any recent dealings with Silk Abstract Company or Silk Title?

They've been great to work with. Fair...no problems.

Re: Silk Title....

yes, a purchase. "critical" fax-ins while at table: nobody leaves the room until the seller signs their part (after closing for that bank in different timezone!) The title person clocked-out during our signing! We completed our paperwork & left.
So, the jury is still out for me as this was me 1st experience w/them & hiring party did not mention "critical fax-ins while at table" on the phone. Learned a valuable lession about working for new clients: always ask! Don't expect the person trying to hire you to give you the ugly truth.

Re: Silk Title....

Yes, I too have had my fair share of learning that way. I did the job for Silk on 8/7 and received a check on 8/21. No faxbacks, no hand holding. They were a pleasure to deal with and met my fee. I would work for them again.
