3rd party signing co's
So i get a call from Hatton & Assoc. closing next day, Im slow, new co. on the road so I accept. Looked in SC and saw 4 star rating along with several negative comments??? I get the order and its really from ISGN,(Who I am still waiting for 2 jobs payment 2 months old). I call and ask where this order is from, she said Hatton and Hatton will pay you, I ask will u wait until ISGN pays u first then pay me, she hesiatated and said well yes, I told her my situation and kindly declined. She stated HARSHLY, she would put in my profile that I will not work for ISGN. My Profile?? I normally will jump through hoops to get the job done ive accpeted and have never declined an order due to something like this, so my question is, Does ISGN outsource their jobs to others due to their negative history & inability to find notaries who they can work with or is it something else. I have been doing this for 8 years and never ran across this. Any thoughts.

Say "Fine". I will not work for ISGN. They seem to think they don't have to pay. I would have done the same.

I would have declined as well, when I saw the 3rd party
<<"she would put in my profile that I will not work for ISGN">>
And have her add: Nor any other signing company with a similar bad reputation, pymt history, etc.
That ought to cover it.

To each their own, but I wouldnt work for anyone who waits for payment to them before payment to you..........that is if I knew about them handling their vendors in that manner.....
What happens if they dont receive payment at all? Your payment from a 3rd party shouldnt be contingent on when or if they receive payment from their clients.......
Just my humble opinion......

Middle-men
Agreed. We all know it's done - "outsourcing," affiliating, "partnering" or whatever the entity chooses to call it - in the everyday course of business ops; but we should have more control about who we work with/for. You're right. Sometimes it gets ridiculous (I expect to start buying butter and other goods from my auto insurer soon - under a different name, of course)
