ASAP Pro Notary, Southlake, TX -- very mixed reviews in SC

What's the real scoop? Are they paying within 30 days or not? Do you have to chase your monies?

They just called for an early morning signing tomorrow.

TIA!!

No , they pay 45+ days out, but do pay. Never in 30, even requesting it. I usually have to send a reminder at 45 days, and the check arrives shortly there after. Never been stiffed, but they pay wayyyy to late.

Well, then ... it's a good thing I just accepted and scheduled another conflicting assignment.

Thank you all!

I haven't worked with them in a good long while - every time, when payment was not received at 45 days, I would have to contact them, and how many times can the same company say EVERY time "Oh sorry, that check should have gone out with the last batch - don't know why it didn't. It will go out with the next batch." Every time - that gets annoying and now I send to VM. If they have to be reminded to pay EVERY time, that is a company that I do not need to deal with.

Re: ASAP Pro Notary, does not PAY ASAP - 45+ days

I did one job for them a couple of years ago and it took 75 days for me to get paid.

When I first started in the business, they paid me Net 15. Then they moved to Net 30. I dropped them when they moved to what they claimed to be Net 45 (they cut check 45 days out, or so they claim) after I had several open invoices without any notice.

Nice people, but nice people do not pay the bills and I do not work with dishonest companies. I consider trying to change the payment terms after the fact dishonest. I have not accepted any signing requests from them for years.

My experience has been slow pay (45+ days) & I seem to

always have to email them. It's a PIA, but they're always been a good co. to work for otherwise.

They EVENTUALLY do pay but you have to bug them ALOT

As a result, I no longer take assignments from them.

Slow or no pay BEWARE! I have been chasing my money since 5/13/13. Sent past due payment email reminders...no response. Got a call today they said my check was returned in the mail. The address was correct. Guess what this is the exact same story I have received before! I will not work for them again. Very unprofessional!
