In 2009, the Santa Barbara fires took a lot of homes, leaving many with no place to live, they were underinsured, and a woman came onto the scene offering to rebuild for whatever their insurance coverages were. But, she defrauded them, took the money and ran. She's just been arrested and arraigned for lots of counts of felony fraud

This is just another example of if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

No one questioned how this woman was going to make up the difference between what insurance would pay and what the actual cost would be?
