Anyone in Phoenix, East Valley use an embosser?
I received a call from a gal that needs a document notarized for the dept of treasury but they require it to be stamped with an embosser. Arizona requires an inked stamp and will not accept an embosser on its own. I thought I would ask on here to maybe help her out.

Not in Arizona. We can use an embosser, but only in conjunction with an inked stamp. So I imagine it is difficult to find someone with an embosser.

I still have mine
I use it, along with my ink stamp for any docs being used internationally.

Since these documents are through the Dept of Treasury, she might need a Medallion Notary for Treasury documents, which is something most of us, if not all of us, are not. See below for a description I found from PAW.
"Medallion notaries are indeed very special. You will only find them in banks and securities offices since their job is to guarantee the financial security transaction. The signature guarantee program involves securities and securities accounts. Transfers and securities instructions requiring owners' signatures must have those signatures guaranteed by a bank or broker. The guarantee is backed up by an insurance policy. The program protects issuers and others from losses as a result of fraudulent securities transfers. This is not something a normal notary public can or should do."

I wondered, too, if they needed a medallion guarantee.
If they just need a notarization, the Treasury Dept. has no right to require anything other than required by notary law in the location where it was notarized. This notion of carrying an embosser to make it look "extra special official" is ridiculous.
Apostilles are sometimes issued with a fancy seal also.
