I prefer Brother Printers & have a MFC-7840W. There are several models available at reasonable prices. Shop around & check all the major websites. Sometimes the wholesale clubs have great sales, too.

Yes I have had good luck with two Brother printers now; one a dual tray laser printer and the other the MFC 8440 that finally needs to be replaced.

It had a legal size scan screen and after reading responses, I think I should look for that option again. Without posting on NR I might have forgotten about that feature and bought one without the option to scan and copy legal size.
