Do any of you provide former employer info when signing on

with new ss/tc - even if you have been an NSA for some time? Some of my former employers' offices are defunct. Getting requests for past employer references. Thanks.

I do, simply because I spent 25 years as a real estate

closing paralegal - that last employer I did all the closings from contract to close - full file management - it has the be the biggest feather in my cap. Also goes a long way if companies have any question as to whether I know mortgages or not.

I have never been asked.

Re: A life time in and around this business but only

an NSA for the last year. I got a running start because of my history and familiarity with docs. Past history really helped me get credibility.
