How's everyone's month going?
Mine was going well considering it wasn't EOM and now that EOM is so close...I've got like nothing going on. I'm feeling another month like I had in April...awful.

It's been awful for me. Last Friday was busy but beyond that....... Thank goodness, I have an Atty I work for doing notarization for her estate plans. This is scary..............

Are there other websites we can sign up for work? I just paid $30 to USA notary---haven't heard anything yet.

You might want to consider a Plan B.
It's not good to put all your eggs in one basket. Just sayin'.

Market, Market, Market!
This is the time to market, market, market. I have found that to be the only way that I survived the down years and current market.
GNW is my favorite right now!! Cash and carry and it really makes a difference, at least in CA.
Plan B is never a bad idea for self employed individuals.
Best of luck!

Do you live near a Starbucks, Seattle's Best, McDumpys? Make one of those your satellite office and if they meet you there, charge just for the notarization, or perhaps only a dollar or two for the trip fee. Surprising how many will call you back - and of course you will give out cards while there, letting others know your availability.

GNW works in CA, but not AZ where we can only get $2 per and our travel fees are restricted.

I've filled out I don't know how many profiles. I've got my name in with some realtors but haven't gotten many calls from them. How else do you market? Ideas are greatly appreciated.

Re: Market, Market, Market!
Ideas for marketing:
1. Compile a list of TC's, lenders, realtors, etc. in your area; 2. Personally visit the target's office and leave business card; 3. Follow up personal visit with phone call; 4. Email those you were unable to contact; 5. Everywhere you go (doctor, mechanic, car wash, beauty salon, school, etc.) leave your business card; 6. Contact your current best customers and remind them you're still and business and miss their calls; 7. Work on your website; etc, etc, etc.
Getting the picture? It takes work and time. And, it's up to you if it's worth it.
