I feel for you

I keep meaning to call ATT and get a new one - I feel it is so old it is just a matter of a sneeze or a hiccup and it will fry. Plus, they run so HOT - is this right?

Guess I will call tomorrow and complain...beg for new one.

The "new" one I'm getting cost $100+ but it's wireless (still gotta connect the entrance wire to it) but it will host all my families I "this" and I "that" !

I am wireless with a zillion devices off the wireless modem, but still have that wire to the ATT creature, then from it to the wireless.

I have a cable modem. I can rent one for around $5 per month, or buy my own for around $80 (just a modem, no wireless). I just replaced mine; the old one got electrocuted in a lightning storm. Like one of the other posters, I have a separate router that does both Ethernet and wireless.
