Printer is not responding to print, yet it copies?

brand new USB hooked up to my Brother MFC-736ON, printer copies yet will not print, computer says it is offline, printer & computer are 3 months old, please help me cause I have to get to a closing

Had the same issue a couple of weeks ago.

Uninstall and re-install printer along with updates from Brother site.

Procedure for Windows 7:
Go to Control Panel.

Then to Uninstall Program.

Then scroll on list to find your printer program and click on it to uninstall.

Then go to Devices and Printers and click on Add a Printer. Computer will "discover and pair" with your printer. It should guide you from there.
