Update on Prestige Signing Group Services
Just got an email with a jpg copy of the check for a signing I did on 3/7/2013 saying they mailed it out on June 1, 2013. Check has a date of May 26, 2013.
For the other notary who did a signing for them the same week I did, I hope you get your pay as well. Fingers cross that it actually mailed. I'll update once I actually receive it and it clears.

I, too, received an email with scanned copy of check for job of 5/3/13. Check is dated 6/1/13.
However ... it's not signed - hopefully, it was signed prior to mailing. The amount is $15.00 short and they reference another last name than what I was involved with. I did email Prestige and inquire if I may expect balance due by end of the week so I may close this file. They apologized and stated I would have balance this week.
I'll update SC when both checks are received and clear.

It's not a big deal, they do that as a courtesy when someone like Toni makes these post. I've been working for them for a while and they keep me busy and I don't have issues with them. This is the 1st I've heard of being hung up on and things like that. They are not like that.

Maybe not to you but it is to me when the signing took place on 3/7 and they are just now sending a payment for it after numerous attempts of inquiry. Good that they are good to you. But in my book they are 90+ day payers. Will never work for them EVER again!

I've worked a couple of times for Prestige. They take a little longer to pay than most of my clients, but I've never had an issue of shortpay or no pay. They are extremely courteous and do what they say they will do.

I would work for them again. They met my fee, docs were on time, great lender, I know the COO of the title company they worked for. Solid. Not like a lot of companies lately.

Toni, why don't you call the office and inquire when the file closed. Maybe it didn't close right away and that is why it took longer for them to get paid, hence 90 days for you. I think this is a long time too. They are very sensitive to negative posts because they are earnest and hard working ladies. Good companies to work for are declining in numbers. I wouldn't disc them so fast without a discussion about it.

Im past discussing cuz that should have taken place on 4/29 when I called and then again May 8 (left message), sent email may 25 and another call placed may 28. They had plenty of opportunity and if they had an issue a courtesy phone call to me about payment would have been nice. But that didnt occur.

Prestige also has problems receiving emails sometimes, but it's very noticeable that they are a paying company. In the beginning, they were not so good with that, but they were a new company. I myself and many others are very satisfied with there services. They never try to negotiate someones fee lower than what they ask for and have no problem paying, for me...
