American Title in Omaha now offers a whopping

$80 for BoA and 60+ pages of faxbacks. "A new pilot program."

I realize some of you have not had a good history with this company, but I have had a good one. They recently paid for a bgc and this must be what it was for. And this is a title company not an SS.

Doesn't make "$80 for BoA and 60+ pages of faxbacks..." any less obscene.

Fully agree Linda,...I took my family to lunch and it cost $85.00, I've turned down the last 17 $100.00 offering! Too bad!!

Did you think I thought the bgc justified the fee offer? Where did that come from? No, it does not make it any less ridiculous! That should go without saying.

I was pointing out their BoA deal must be what the background check was for. They were meeting BoA requirements gearing up to offer less. A cheap deal they cut with BoA.

Maybe next time we are asked for yet another bgc we can ask them what the purpose is. If it is for something like this we can pass altogether. They ding your credit so they can make you junk offers.

Did you see the 3 letters at the end of my post?

"JMO"

Just My Opinion that the offer is obscene - no malice intended.

more often than not, my post are misunderstood mostly

because I type post "live" when I really should type a draft copy first.

What caught my eye in your post was " I realize some of you have not had a good history with this company, but I have had a good one." .....which translated (to me) that you work for them and $80.00 with faxbacks is O.K. My bad!

Thanks. And no, $80 is awful even if no faxbacks!

They have always paid much more than that.
My whole point was the ridiculous offer and the added insult of an additional ding on my credit for a bgc only to manifest itself as a pitiful offer.

Seems no matter how you say something and think it through and retype, there is always going to be misintereptation. What is amazing is how people feel they have to comment without clarifying.

Yeah, this is pretty sad really. I like those at American

Title. It's quite the waste.

I ask what the pay is and they say, well this is the pilot program. They mentioned that their doing volume at this lower price. I told them, that's the thing, the volume is in YOUR best interest, it certainly doesn't benefit US!

If people are naive, gullible, unaware, uninformed, senseless (business and common-wise), ignorant(oops, did I say that?), enough to believe that it is beneficial for them to accept this pay, then I really wish you would hurry up and go out of business because it's just ludicrous to expect to make a profit from these. Not only will you not make a profit, but you are actually working at a loss.

Wake up people. Please stop lowering your standards. Volume does not constitute profit.

I'll say it again In measuring Volume, all the units are the same. L X W X H

You can't get volume if the number of pages are different, the distance traveled different and number of borrowers are different.

I got the email also and haven't done anything with it yet. I've only worked with them a couple times. Paid much more than they are offering. May give them a call and see what they say.

Re: Obviously I turned it down. :0)

I agree with everyone the amount of faxbacks is insane and you need to beg to get additional $, when i complained they offered me an extra $5 I asked them do you realized how silly that sounds, finally agreed on an additional $15. Another problem the BoA packages are soooooooo excessive, like 12 copies of the NRTC and the TIL. Another complaint that I brought to their attention answere "we have no control over that" can't they communicate with B0A. I need to work and if nothing is going on during that time and I get at least $110 I take it. i wish I could say NO
