Another thread on ID & Name differences
Docs are in the name of John Doe & Jane Doe. Well actually docs had 3 different ways for Mrs. A few had Jane Doe, some said Jane Doe AKA Mary Elizabeth, Mary Elizabeth. Drivers License say Mary Elizabeth Doe. Husband states decades ago Mary Elizabeth Doe was named Jane Doe. He claimed to have told the lenders that several times over the course of the application process and to fix it. And she won't sign Jane Doe, she will sign Mary Elizabeth Doe.
Also DOT is vested Jane Doe aka Mary Elizabeth.
Call Title and explain situation. They said previous title is vested with Jane Doe. So this one they added an aka. BUT the aka is wrong. It only lists first & middle. No last name even the other docs say that. So they put me on hold for a couple of minutes. Come back and say just add the last name to the docs & initials and just have her sign docs as she normally signs. Umm ok but there are quite a few docs with Jane Doe only. Change it and initial.
Why do I have the feeling these docs will have to be redrawn?
Even the AKA statement was wrong. It said Jane Doe formerly known as Mary Elizabeth. We changed it to say Mary Elizabeth Doe FKA Jane Doe. UGH!!!! What monkey approved these docs?
