Home discount for going green with solar power if you buy a Honda product. Honestly, how can you not do this! No other dealer is offering this incentive. Off the charts!

Be sure to read the comments at the end of the article if you are thinking of the solar lease deal....which is a real deal for them, not you.

Focused on the car at the moment. Great incentives for purchasing.

All this solar hoopla is a bunch of ****
I have solar panels. Problem is that the ones they sell here are not made for the desert climate. As it gets hotter, the panels lose their efficacy when you need them most. Their life is finite. The only useful panels are made in Israel for the desert climate. They came with the house. Our builder, Meritage made promises that they could not keep. What a waste!

The car is my interest. Curious if any notaries have
considered this car? There are some cons but a ton of pros.

Curious about offsite recharge stations and availability?

I live in an area that is good for refuling. I wouldn't take it on a road trip probably since Natural Gas is not the norm. Stations are not plentiful, planning would be required, but for a commuter car it might work for me. I've been looking into this for a few months.

Here is a review of the Civic hybrid. There is a map of fueling stations. Unfortunately, there aren't that many here on the central coast. The nearest one is at the Lompoc AFB, 35 miles from me.

Great reviews though. A little more for the car, but long term savings on fuel. GPS is $1500 extra. It hasn't caught on here yet, people are still buying smaller cars before considering electric or ngp cars.

Yeah, that's my struggle. There is a $4,000 tax rebate that
makes the additional cost for the NG version worth it (at least for me). The other pro for me being in the OC/LA region is the carpool access. Decisons, decisions...

Nice chunk o' change on the tax rebate. I've never
regretted getting a safe, tiny car. Paid off in 3 years, so cheap to run - even on gas -. (Sure wish I the EV was available when I took the plunge - even Lincoln City has an electric recharde station.)
Lots of NG buses in Oregon, so the technology's pretty solid. I say, if it meets your needs, and you like the deal - go for it.

Honda Civic NGV
I rented one of these about 10 years ago in So. Cal. It was a great little vehicle. In AZ there are not enough refueling stations to make it practical like in CA. Home refueling stations are also available.
