Closed loans in four cities today. Turned down more closings that I have on any single day in the past 10 years. Not a single nap today, unless you count the one where I momentarily went to sleep at the wheel while rocketing down the tollway at 75 mph.
I did not sign on for this. I'm supposed to be sipping a mint julep under a magnolia tree while wrapped in soulful melodies from the cotton fields, Instead it's sausage on a stick and a diet Dr Pepper from a 7/Eleven enroute to a signing 24 miles away while listening to the whacked-out conspiracy theories of Alex Jones.
I need a nap, like maybe from April to August.
