Do you pay for a BGC?
I have Equifax and LSI now asking me to pay for a BGC. This is ridiculous. I had one done through One Source and they won't take it. I know Lexis Nexis used to do them for free. Anyone else?

Well, thank you for that Stephanie..
I'm sure I and all those who have had their NotRot BGC's rejected appreciated that..

BTW..I should add here...I had worked for LSI in the past
when my NNA BGC expired all was quiet. They finally requested an update and I got one from LexisNexis (the one used by NNA) - LSI rejected it - wanted a new one from NNA
Since I'd taken a full-time position I didn't do anything because I wasn't doing signings anyway. But last April I got the NotRot one, contacted LSI, sent it to them - no good..need NNA
I've been BGC'd til I'm purple (I also worked the Censes - guess what - FEDERAL BGC; got my CNA license - HEALTHCARE BGC) - none of them would do.
It is what it is.

Yikes, I just got one on NotRot yesterday...
I hope LSI takes it. I do a lot of business with them.

Hey, you could be In California... We have to pay $65-85 for fingerprinting and doj/FBI background checks just to get our commissions every 4 years. And then those are not even usable for anything else. We have to then pay for all of the others we want/need as well in order to work for certain companies. Very few of these companies will cover the cost...though lately more and are, but not many.
