Friday closing for new SS client
Package = 198 pages, 31 -- you read that figure right -- notarizations. We won't even talk about the duplications. Paid appropriately for size of package, did not realize magnitude of notarizations, so undercharged there. Won't happen again.
This is for a company rated five stars in 2011, then it fell off the grid till one recent negative review.
31 notarizations! One document even had me notarizing my notarization.

Wow, I thought my recent one was rough. Discover Home Loans - 165 pages (print 2 copies) with 17 notarizations. I lost money on that one too.

Wow! I turned one back this afternoon after receiving 167 pages x 2 plus approx. 40 miles. They wouldn't meet my renegotitated fee. They got another notary.

Who was the lender? I had a few like that last yr
... with a longtime SS customer. Not the normal type of signing I received from this SS.
It may be the specific lender and/or TC. It may be a one-off.
