They had music playing in the lobby where I was waiting to be summoned by the cemetery director - a Beatles loop that included "It Won't Be Long."

I am NOT kidding.

Not unusual. if the deceased "planned" his/her own funeral, he/she can choose the music that's to be played.

When my sister passed away, she chose Rod Sieger and lots of the '60's music.

Phew! Bet you're glad that's over. Last one I was at was for my father in Ocala, FL...pretty difficult for me.
