Going to Prison tomorrow

....if I don't check in my 8:30am, they kept me. I have a signing with a correctional officer in SLO...well, of course, I have nada on my record, but shucks you never know. Should be an interesting drill. Never been to prison before.

I get calls to go to our local jail in Orange.....apparently, it is also a holding area for people that have been picked up in immigration sweeps and are waiting to get deported. Usually, a loved one contacts me as the detainee wants someone to have a POA so they can access their accounts to get them legal cousel, etc. It was interesting to see the inmate i.d. Looks just like a driver's license only on a wristband like you get in the hospital. haven't been there in a long time. stay safe....it's the "visitors" that will scare you!

I not aware that wristband jail ID is acceptable in CA....tho I've never seen the one that looks like a DL.

I'm out...it wasn't so bad. Client offered me a coffee. I thanked him, we'll just sign and you can get back to training. They are doing hand to hand combat and armory (latest and greatest in weapons training) for two weeks.

I've never seen so many buff prison officers (600) in my life in one place! I was the only blond lady/notary on the field. Duh! He picked me out immediately.
