Higher paying ( title ) companies / lenders/ SCs
Guys can you pls tell me where can i find the companies who pay 100 + for signing ( 100+ without having to travel beyond 10 miles). And are willing to pay Extra amount ( on top of 100+) for travelling more than 10 miles. I know one way is to scan the Notary Rotary signing comopanies listed here. But is there some other way i can KNOW which are the top dollar paying companies so that I can focus my marketing efforts on getting their work? i do feel 150 ( without travel) is a fair price and NOT high considering all things we have to do to accomplish a signing successfully

Raj, there's nothing "small" about the Antelope Valley. Just sayin'.

Raj, it took me about five years in this business before I established relationships with my best clients who get me docs on time and their deals are solid every time (extremely rare for a no-sign) - and they do pay $150+ per closing. It's a combination of experience and marketing. How long have you been a signing agent? It does take some time to get established and be able to support yourself full time in this line of work.

Raj, if you will be so kind as to send me a wire in the amount of $500,000, I will happily send you a list of all my best paying customers, their email addys, cell phone numbers and after hours numbers, as well as all my hot dog loan officers contact information, etc.
It has taken me 12 years to get smart about my contacts and to hone my craft and these relationships. It is also worth much more than this bargain basement price I'm quoting to you here today, it is my best offer, and it will expire at 5pm today.

Raj, by going through SC and searching companies
here you'll get all the info you need.
If you're a premier member here you can sort the companies by star ratings - is an immense help and a huge timesaver.
But other than that, the footwork is up to you.

What a smashing idea...I'll get right on it...cuz it's time for new tires and brakes pretty soon, and I'd like to avoid that...

You are expecting a little much, and disrespecting your competition thinking they are fools. Build your business like everyone else has to..

Raj, may I ask that you stop referring to a group of people which includes females as "guys". I am not a guy. One of my pet peeves is the use of this. I don't know where it came from but it just took off.

Raj, you'll have to pay your dues like the rest of us. This business takes time....LOTS of time to build your client base. While I handle mostly GNW (general notary work) and started in Sept. 2007, I started to see the fruits of a lot of networking/marketing in 2011. You are in CA, which means GNW can be VERY lucrative.....it's instant cash for little time, no printing - you just show up, notarize, collect your fee and leave. But whatever area you decide to focus on - loan signings or GNW - it still takes time and hard work.
I was a Chamber of Commerce member and through that networking venture, I met mortgage brokers, escrow officers, realtors and r.e brokers, attorneys, doctors, senior center administrators, etc. I used to buy business cards by the truckload!! Many of the Chamber of Commerce members belonged to other networking groups (BNI, LeTip) and I was invited to those meetings. I met a mortgage broker and did loan signings for him at $150 a pop - 2 years ago. Never had to print a thing, just showed up at his office, the broker was in the other room to answer any questions, I presented the docs, notarized and left the docs with the broker. In 2 weeks, I was paid. Sometimes, the signings were on location but most were at his office about two miles from my home.
There is no magic, Raj....you'll have to hit the pavement with both feet and get out there and do your due diligence, just like the rest of your notary colleagues have. You have a nice website....but who is this "WE" you refer to in your website? If you are a sole proprieter, then your entire site should be worded as such. Otherwise, it's confusing. Anyhow, GOOD LUCK!!
