I purchased an HP 2055 dn on ebay.

It is replacing an existing HP 2055 DN that is the primary printer. I thought ths would be easy - just plug it in, no software to install. I plugged it in and hooked it up to computer, but it will not print anything sent over from my PC. Any ideas? TIA

Did you install the drivers or use the "add a printer function" on your computer? Even though it's the same model you had before, you have to go through these steps for any new printer.

HP printer installs are tricky.
Before you hook it up, you MUST un-Install all other HP devices on your system.
This means going thru the registry & deleting any entries.
Then you can install without any issues.
Note: If Not sure of the registry, ask for help from a qulaified tech.
a wrong move in the registry can prevent the system from starting.

And then in your PULL DOWN print menu, you have to select this specific printer.
