LSI
What is LSI paying agents in the San Francisco bay area? $85 does not seem to be enough, can they be pushed?

Re: LSI can only be pushed if they can't find anyone cheaper

What matters is what *you* charge... not what they pay. You are not their employee. You are the vendor, they are the client. You are an independent business owner and need to figure out what you need to charge to stay in business. They will either meet your fee or they won't.
Oh, sure, if they find somebody cheaper than you they'll go with the cheaper notary... but if you keep operating at a loss you're not doing yourself any favors. You're working for less than free. You are a business owner, not a charity.

"You are a business owner, not a charity." Marian, love that line. Fellow notaries, you are not charitable institutions. I had a SS call me and the scheduler said: "you are too high, we start at $80." Well, I finish at $XXX. Sorry, no can do.

Ask yourself "how much are YOU worth"
Charge based on your needs/desires and not the company's. They're taking good care of themselves, and so should you.

The schedulers seem to have no flexibility in changing the fee when they call you. You would have to contact vendor management and have your fees changed to whatever you want to charge. However, LSI will call the less-expensive notaries first. But when they call you and offer you a closing, it will be at the fee you have in your vendor profile.

LSI pays/saves me 19.50 per month even without doing a single signing.
