Miracles do happenn....

I took a signing from Notary Pro. Yes, I know of their horrible reputation. Found out after I agreed to do the signing. So I went out anyway, in a snowstorm too. The signing was completed on February 8th and I received my check in the mail yesterday, for the full amount due me. I know, I have to wait for the check to clear but I'm sure I won't have a problem. I had completed one other signing for them, got paid (not on time due to paperwork issues on their end), but got paid the full amount and the check cleared.

HERE'S MY RANT!

hmmm...do you think they pick names out of hat monthly to see who they will pay, and Lisa just got lucky?

The luck of the draw?

My theory is...some of these companies have no system, no controls in place. They fill orders with the title companies, they get paid within 3-5 days. On this they are clear, they know what's owed to them and track it. REVENUE.

They bank the bucks.

They don't pay notaries until they squeal. Squeal some more. Pay themselves first, the MBZ payments, their mortgages ,trips to Europe, Vegas, Cancun, whatever's left, then, MAYBE, start paying a few notaries, just so they can keep them taking orders.

I think it's a crap shoot. And not only should be say NO to low ball fees and these fly by night companies, but HELL NO!

Re: HERE'S MY RANT!

The met my fee. My fault for not checking them out first, and yes I did go for a second round with them since they met my fee. Would I go out again for them, not so sure. One thing I am sure of, they must meet my fee. It's a gamble these days no matter who we work for.

Funny thing, they just called me for a job not too far from my house. I couldn't make the time, they'll call back. Do I really care if they call back or not - no. Will I take the job - only if they can meet my fee. And then that's it. I don't get deep into any one signing company. It amazes me how some notaries are owed thousands and they keep taking on more work.

Re: HERE'S MY RANT!

Yes - that amazes me as well when someone says a company owes them many, many big bucks.

Do not rate a company right away on SC. Wait 6 months and

see how things continue to go. Do not jump on and give anyone a great rating too quickly. That is what jacks with the truth.

Notary Pro BOGUS

I will NEVER work for them again, 1st of all they are low ballers and than on top of that I've been waiting over 60 days to get paid. Communication on there part is very Unprofessional.
