Nations Signature Closings called....

Wanted to pay me $115.00 for 60 mile round trip, 200 page refi, e-docs for a 9:00 pm closing tomorrow night . Gave them my fee and he said if he got management approval he'd call back. Fingers crossed! I'm new and sticking to my guns for us all!

You probably won't hear back from them. I'm surprised they offered that much.

Good for you for sticking to your fees! Don't know about anyone else, but given those specifics... distance, package size and time of night... out where I am, my fees for that would likely start around $200 and go up from there depending on the other details or requirements.

That's a very reasonable fee for that job so if you didn't

get the call back it's because someone closer may have done it for less or someone wanted to lose money on the deal. Afterall, some people apparently just work for the fun of it. Hang in there Melissa

$115 is a reasonable fee for a job that involves 60 miles of travel, late at night and 400+ pages of printing?

Not according to my profit margin calculations it isn't.

I agree Marian. 60 miles for me automatically starts at $250 and add that its an after hours signing, add $100. So Id do it for $350 at 9pm. I wouldnt be home till 11 probably.
