Prestige Signing Group, Des Moines, IA

On Thursday, I posted that I turned back a signing for this company because I read a review about them in SC and thought I was saved for a fate worse than death. NOT SO.

I received a call from the escrow officer for this file located in Westlake Village, CA, just down the road a piece, saying that they send a lot of their files to Prestige and they are very happy with their performance. Cheyenne and Skye both called me to say that the person who posted about them had not performed their notary services completely causing a week delay in the closing of the client's loan, and the notary was a little miffed at not being paid on time. Understandably.

So I'm hear to humbly apologize to both Prestige and to their client, WFS, for the errant post and to say: Documents were sent on time and the clients were very high profile, easy to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to accept work from Prestige should they contact any one on this board for this signing opportunities. They met my fee, I do not expect any issues to arise from this signing event, as we checked and double checked for 100% completeness before I left the borrowers home and dropped the documents for shipping.

I emailed them last week to see about signing up with them, but there has been no reply.

It was refreshing to see that this SS chose a different route. Rather than just go on to the next notary when you turned signing back or offer to pay PayPal, they instead contacted their TC client and had the escrow officer call you to give you a great recommendation for this SS.

It's also wonderful to see they met your fee and got docs to you timely. Of course, it's still way too early to know that they've paid net 30. Since you've already given them a glowing review and a 5-star rating, can I ask you to come back with an update when payment is received? That'll give us a complete picture. TIA!

I am completely at ease with this company, as the top executive lives in my community, and I'll be a banging on his door if I don't get paid. HAHA! He's a standup guy and a well respected real estate attorney and businessman. I've done a lot of work for his company, including his own refinance at his home, so I have no concerns whatsoever.
