Scanning and file issue
I still have a flatbed scanner that only scans one page at a time. Its a pain and I will be getting a different one when the checks start to come in but until then I have a question. I scanned in an independent contractor agreement to a tc today page by page almost 17 pages. I attached to the email and then got a return email from them asking me to please resend it as one attachment. How do I do that? Please help!

I dont know unless it is in the computers program. My program in my computer says add more pages after it scans as another option. That is where I would start. I would tell Title that you dont have a feeder scanner (yet) and see what they say to you. Then I would run and get one tomorrow and rescan if you can't find a fix the file tonight. Good luck

Check your settings to see if there is a choice for multi-page vs. single page somewhere. That might let you keep adding to the same file, one at a time. I used to be able to do that with my old set-up.

You can get PDF merge & split software but for now you can try this free site online to merge files

Good Luck

I use the Image to PDF Converter available free at http://www.pdfarea.com/
First I scan the images in as pictures, using the software built into the scanner. Then I use the settings in Image to PDF Converter to instruct the program to combine the pictures as one letter-size (or legal size) PDF. The output is a multi-page PDF.
I've only had two issues. One is that if a document has a mix of letter and legal size, I have to create two different PDFs, one for each size. The other is that my hand-scanner will only produce color images, and I haven't found a convenient way to convert them to grey scale, which would produce smaller documents.

There are programs available on line that will take all your scanned pages and put them together as one file. I have used one called PDFill tools (free) that does the job perfectly.

I recommend PDFill a lot. The free version is good for a lot of things, but for only $20, you can do some stuff that Adobe does. I use it all the time.
And as far as combining pages to one doc, this program will do that. Try it.

I have an HP Scanjet, and added a top feeder accessory. Having said that, when I use the software that came with it, if I scan in as photos, it does one at a time. If I chose "documents" it scans and then asks me if I want to add more pages.
See what setting you're choosing to scan for in the first place and if there's a "document" setting, try that.
