Karmic! Love it, great story. Similar, friends of mine came back from vacation, their home had been robbed. Every last stick of furniture, clothing, dog house, total. They got help from their church, hoteled it, clothing and cash, cancelled all their credit cards, opened new checking, because even their files were removed.
They are all (two kids, mom and dad) standing at Wendy's ordering dinner, and she sees her blouse and pedal pushers, no wait I used to have deck shoes like those, same color. She begins trembling and they step out of line and call the police, who immediately come over, take the information and follow this woman to her "digs". Well, the rest you can guess. Grand theft. They moved all their stuff to another property in the very same neighborhood. Just needed a few household goods.
Creepy.
