Xpnotaryclosings

Never heard of these people. Not in Sc. E-mail blast asking for some one to close a 16 page Debt Elimination Retainer this coming Tuesday. Gave them my usual response for these types of jobs, $500. if overnighted, and the check included. Otherwise, good luck. Newbies, watch out.

I heard of them. Emailed me at 4:00 am to do a debt resolution. Emailed them back at 8:00 am, got back to me a week later saying they found someone else.

Is this the same company from

Msg #461106 ?

I received an email "signing request" with just the date and time. No other information was provided in the "request". from the company in the linked msg.
I blocked them in my email account after that one. I don't even want to waste my time sending their emails to the trash folder manually.

I don't respond to email only requesting SS companies. Be professional and pick up a phone and make some calls! At least attempt to do something to look like you are actually earning the cut in the NSA's fees you expect from each signing. Sending out mass cattle call style emails waiting for the lowest bidder's reply to arrive doesn't deserve more than a $5 cut in my pay on signings, imo. I have no doubt that those types of lowballing companies would not agree to a fee of $170 - $195 for a local refi w/o any fax backs.

I like your response, John. Wink

Apps are up in this area, current rate I am seeing this week range from 3.75-3.9 30 year fix and 2.875 for 15 year. Now those rates have been locked in 2-4 months ago.

I have done several signings for Peggy & Ximena at XP Notary Closings, while I do agree with the mass email comments, they are still good people to work with and pay with in less than or right at 30 days. Their packages are small and usually take about 15 minutes, so as far as a "low ball" price I think what they pay is reasonable!

Re: Xpnotaryclosings - Debt Elimination Retainer

I just received a request for a signing. Has anyone worked with this company? How are they on paying for your services in a timely manner?
