An object lesson in perseverance
Some time back I received a notice from a lawyer, indicating that I might be entitled to participate in a settlement in a class action lawsuit titled MBA Surety Agency, Inc. vs ATT Mobility LLC.
Now, I frankly don’t remember ever being an ATT customer, though there is a great likelihood in my peregrinations through the various mobile phone service providers I had landed in the ATT corral at one time or another. However, based upon what the lawyer had to say, I may have been used and abused by ATT at some time in the past, and he was prepared to plead my case fervently to make me whole.
Never one to miss a chance to bring justice to the teeming masses, the Great Unwashed, I filled out all the forms and sent them in, just as I did the subsequent mailings that occasionally arrived upon my ATT-deprived doorstep.
Today, it all paid off, all that persistence and dedication to the Cause of Justice for the Hoi Polloi. I received a check from the ATT Mobility Universal Services Fund to compensate me for the damages I received at the unfeeling hands of ATT. I hold it now, the result of unstinting adherence to seeking What Is Right.
It is for $0.02.
I did it for you, the Little People.
Never give up. Never give in.
Just putting in my two cents worth.

Re: LOL, Hugh! ;-) How much do you think the attorneys made
I was named in class action law suit because I bought memory for my computer and I was cheated somehow and these lawyers wanted to seek justice. I could not find my receipt for the memory I bought, so my recovery was going to be $0.00, but attorneys fees were $127 million.
Those scales on the statue of justice are a little bit uneven.
