Celebrating two weeks of no calls after
announcing I will no longer do loan signings ( because of low fees offered ) I get a call 30 mins ago from an old $175.00 friend. What a surprise! Yes, I can do it!

Re: Congrats! May you receive more.
Thanks ALZ! Could it be, just as we are seeing an influx of new notaries, driving down fees that new SS are driving down fee offering? Anyway, I'd rather do one at $175 then 10 at $75. Last month was so bad, I only filled up my gas tank ONE time for the entire month!

Your paintings are way more beautiful and enriching than the signing business. You're not missing out on much JD.

James, maybe we should all proclaim a hiatus - and watch those calls light up!

Thanks for the Art comments....I just had a brain phart,
If the TC would just simply tell borrowers to find their own notaries none of this stress for us would exist!

Well, now that you've fumigated the rest of us . . .
I just want to say, "Excellent, my dear Picaso, excellent!"
If my energy holds up, I plan to market more to lenders and consumers. I think wom (word of mouth) is going to be one of our best allies - aptly illustrated in your oP. If we are responsible, ethical, hardworking, reasonably intelligent . . . we should be able to do this. No need to have someone else do it for us. Coming in late and from outside, I just don't get the middleman thing ("it's my 1 weakness"). Why am I working for another notary - and forfeiting all <my> hard-earned cash??
(working on a database right now to include applicable VA notaries who want to go Direct)

I believe it can be done.....there is no such thing as TOO busy in my opinion, that's a fabrication. TC just want to get it done accurately. If someone can selll the idea to a TC that THEY can get notaries to do the work,.....so can we!
