Content of Background Checks
When I do background checks, I'm either at the courthouse or using an online website recommended to me by a police officer. Occasionally, online I may find out about a divorce or that someone has been to nursing school. Most of the time, if there is anything at all, it will be a speeding ticket or a jail term. What I would like to know from you all, please, is if you have ever had information differ when you've had more than one background check done. For example, the online company I've used says they can't guarantee their records because they come from different sources. Occasionally, there will be a notation that such-and-such record needs to be updated. If you have something minor, do some companies find it and others don't. Do their versions, though correct, differ somewhat. I can't search my own name to discover this and I don't know other people well enough to be able to research that in their names. In other words, I don't know their backgrounds. My purpose in this is to find out if there is any substantial difference between companies, particularly with NNA and others. I'm trying to figure out why NNA's contact company is so preferred. Is it the Cadillac of background checks, or what?
