Client needs papers notarized for boyfriend in jail...
"Well, would it be okay,
since my baby's daddy already signed the documents and I have his ID with me,
and since I used to be a notary,
that we could meet in the waiting room at the jail and you could just go ahead and notarize the papers without him actually with us?
We'd be in the jail after all."

Ya. Sure thing. And I take money orders and hot checks too.

That is so crazy! I guess that is why she is no longer a

notary.

BTW....Do women/men really use the vernacular "baby's daddy"? I thought that was only on TV.

Yes - I hear that term for both parents.....

just is so sickening.

"My baby daddy....my baby mama." The first time I heard it I was like deer in headlights - this phenom continues with me.

Re: Go ahead and meet her request

Since you are already in jail you won't have far to travel to you next destination.
