HVR Notaries in San Diego,CA

What's next? Is there a way we can file a complain with CA Dept of Corporations since escrow companies know they are using
SS without capital and at the end they will be filing BK just like HVR and leaving a lot of good hardworking notaries.

How about calling of filing a complain with the DA in SD? If his filing BK, small claims is out the question, right?

Wow, I didn't even realize they filed BK! I need to get on here more often. I worked with them for years and and they always paid on time without problem. Guess that goes to show you even seemingly good, established companies can turn on you at anytime.

They haven't filed.... they just said they were going to.

As of today's federal bankruptcy records... no filing exists for the business, nor for hector personally. Well, once exists for Hector personally. He had a Chapter 7 discharged in early 2009. So, there's no possible way he'd be filing one again personally. There are other possible options, but none that they've actually taken to filing yet.

Re: They haven't filed.... they just said they were going to.

Marian has the right answer and right approach. She is a good source to listen too.

To anyone else who has a prepaid legal plan or access to one, I suggest talking to the right professional for a good answer. Contact your legal plan and ask what your options are. Be sure to collect as much information as possible known from this forum or other source and present it to the attorney when asking your question.

There is too much incorrect information being shared and it is better that people handle it properly the first time to save time and money.

Does anyone know their bankruptcy case number? They have to give that info if they have filed, which once a creditor has it, they must automatically stop all collection efforts. Without the number and filing date, don't believe them. They may not have the money to even file.

If the Title Company had required a BGC on Hector and his so called signing service, they may not have done business with him and he wouldn't have been able to screw Notaries. Bankruptcy history!!!!! C'mon Title Companies!!! Require background checks on Signing Services as you currently impose them on Signing Agents.

This co. has been the main topic of discussion on this

forum. Did you read the other threads?
Sorry, but I'm tired of reading so much about one co. ;-(

Hector had a Ponzi rip-off ( right Les?) going and his investors were unknowing notaries. He is the same as Madoff and should be sentenced accordingly.

In this country it is not illegal to not pay someone. To hire someone, or contract with someone to perform a service for you with the INTENT of not paying them IS. But proving intent is not easy. That’s why thieves LOVE this business. JMO

I too have been ripped off by HVR and I have posted on Ripp Off report. It sounds so strange to me that the owner is filing bankruptcy at the same time as his two top conspirators are taking control of his business by getting a new name, taking his customers, and pretending they are our friends since they left because he wasn't paying the notaries.. A real FRIEND would have given everyone a heads up as soon as they knew the business was failing and they were leaving. ALL OF THESE GUYS JUST WANT TO PAD THEIR POCKETS BASED ON GREED AND OUR INCOMES. Any new notaries out there steer clear of these guys. If JJ and Mark can afford all of their partying and vacations then they should have paid us..Please look up their Facebook accts. Hector Vides, Mark Wills and Jadrian aka JJ Spivey and Mayra Holguin. Shame on all of you and then wanting us to feel sorry for you and sign up with your new company..I believe one of these guys posted he was tired of his wife getting ugly calls. Well at least she will eat and have a roof over her head since he ripped all of us off. I have no pity for any of you guys that perpetrated this conspiracy to defraud the notary population..
Please let me know how many of you were ripped off. I am sending a list to the DA! Please go to Ripp Off report also and list the title companies and the Lenders who hired this company. I am sending all of them a copy of my report to the DA and would like to send yours along with mine. As a joint effort we can make a difference. Needless to say I will not be doing business with Sign Here Ink!!
