High-kicking all the way to the grave

Got a call last night. An elderly woman (actually, only 71, five years younger than me) had just been taken by ambulance to a hospice and possibly would not make it through the night. She needed a will and a POA notarized.

So, went in, signer was alert but weak. Not only alert, but still full of P&V. She was insistent that she wanted her beer. Relatives finally got consent to get her one can today, but, as a daughter pointed out, the hospice did not specify the <size> of the can: It could be 40 ounces.

On the way out, I told her, "Judy, I may come back tomorrow and have a beer with you."

"Okay," she replied, "but nothing hinky."

That's my kind of woman. Well ... don't know about the "no hinky" restriction, but otherwise, she and I were soulmates.

Good for her!

Now, Hugh ... don't you go getting her drunk and taking advantage of her! Wink ROFLMAO!!!

Ahh, what a great story, Hugh...a little levity in a "grave" situation. You're a prince!
