Hello Any update on Jim Coffee. Used to be Tran State. Sold company to new name Sunshine Signings. He called me for a closings and has said he started his own company again. Anyone had any recent dealings. He was always great in the past. I was just looking for any updates considering the climate Thanks

Is it Sunshine Signings in Florida? We do quite a bit of business with them. They pay more than most and are easy to deal with.

Re: Surprised to hear this..
They pay us $100. Most companies pay $75 to 80 for the area I'm in.

Wow.
He sells his company and then opens another one in direct competition. Hard to believe that someone would buy a business and not get at least a 5 year non-compete included in the deal. Again WOW! Wonder if Sunshine Signings knows?

Wrong spelling of his name, but I'm not going to correct it.
It is interesting: when I google this company it brings me to a NR listing, but the listing no longer exists. It also gives me the website and the home page says, verbatim:
"Having been a successful Signing Agency since 2003, our reputation, service and success far exceeds other agencies and the expectations of title companies.
Our goal is to achieve a 100% success rate in completing closing requests anywhere in the country with a high level of service. We work with title companies and lenders from Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Rhode Island, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, New jersey, Maryland, New York, Arizona, Minnesota, California, Wisconsin."
There is more, but that is not the point. The rest of the site is "under construction". So, he has an old company name, being revitalized. In AR originally, but unknown where at this time as there is no "contact us" feature.
hmmmm.

So sorry about the spelling. His name is Jim Coffey. I guess I was tired when I wrote this and was thinking of my morning Joe. Lol I will post more follow up after I receive payment

Jim is working under a new company called Cornerstone. He is just as reliable and professional as ever. Never had a bad experience with him under Trans State or Cornerstone.

Have worked with Jim in the past and recently, very nice guy ... never a problem with loan docs or payment.
